hankyul had every right to be mad at her. first of all, she's just dumb if she thought he would rather want him as a man than a woman even after she knew he liked her. also he literally had an identity crisis and thought he was gay, which is very frightening esp in a homophobic country and being raised the way he is. he had to accept the fact that he would have to give up his future, his family just to admit his feelings for her. i understand why she lied but it is true she didn't think about his pain at all, and his friend had the right to be upset and stick up for him too. ik it's just a kdrama and it turned out good for the both of them, but as a gay woman, admitting to yourself that you are gay is a rlly traumatic process so his pain and resentment towards her for her deceit is very understandable and i think this show does a good job of giving gravity to those feelings from han kyul
