Have a look at my light setup and swipe through to see the results ππ»
I got a lot of messages and comments on these last posts that they'd love the grey background, but as you can see it's the usual white one π
I just place my light more to the right/left side of the model so it doesn't hit the background anymore and thats why it appears to be grey.
Also i like to have enough space between model and background so you don't have the models shadow in the background or many light/shadow differences.
Since i only work with one light source with a pretty small softbox ( i definitely need a bigger one π) i depend a lot on bouncers or in this case i use the black side which "eats up" the light and creates deeper shadows on the models skin π
My settings on light and camera are:
Profoto D2 1000W:
Sony A III:
I tried to get this look a few times now with a grid on my softbox but it never worked so i am very happy that i found something that works for me right now π₯³
If you have any questions let me know in the comments or drop me a DM π
P.S.: How cute is Bella's smile though πI will add a photo from that series as well once i am done retouching them π
