2023-09-07 02:07:23 +0000 UTCoptimists/morons - another LOL today! I remember seeing my grandmother's glasses and was fascinated because the lenses had cut-off corners. Quite a few years ago she mentioned I'd pulled her glasses off her face and broke them - I asked if they had those corners but she didn't remember; what I SHOULD have asked her was how old was I at the time (she's gone now so I'll never know) but I would have to have been an infant being held close enough to her face to grab them.

2023-09-06 18:00:58 +0000 UTCMy earliest independent memory, as opposed to one my parents jogged later, may be when I couldn't spend recess the way I usually did, because the school had ponies over for rides. Other kids seemed to like this, but I was autistic enough to throw a fit and hit a supervisor, which got me a timeout. For years afterward, I hated horses.
