It's scary!

James Noury

The best is the realization that you are in no danger of dying young (only good if you are 80+). The worst is the gradual erosion of physical abilities - not being able to do things that were once second nature.

Richard Estel

Kinda weird but, as I've lost some of my agility in my lower body, i.e. waist, knees, feet, (slipping on stuff becomes a circus routine), I have gained increased agility in my upper body. I notice it most when some of my many meds and supps want to tumble out of the cabinet, and I am able to react quickly enough to keep them from spilling on the floor. It's like I can see how they are going to fall almost before they start. Ironically, I was never much good at catching things when I was young.

Jon Benson

So far for me, the worst is the occasional injury that wouldn't have been so bad in the past. The best is feeling wiser.

Stephen Gilberg

Best part: qualifying for all the "senior citizen" discounts (half price fare on the subways, frozen rent courtesy of NYC program, etc.) Worst part: getting older.
