December - End of Year Newsletter from Kristian!

Hello everyone. This is the newsletter for December and the end of a great year with all of you. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of both the membership and the Patreon! It is because of you guys that we were able to continue to do this every day. We brought in a lot of new people, the move from New York was successful. I am happy to hear that so many of you feel the same way. We’ve had some really fun moments!

The crew is pretty set. We’ve had some fun guests, whether it was on the show For interviews for projects or people from the past, we’ve had some really fun things happening. I created a separate UAP channel that people are enjoying. The success of UAP Tuesday on the main channel that eventually shifted into a separate channel was an interesting task. I was able to learn a few things this year that I didn’t know previously.

I created the clips channel based off of recommendations and ideas from some of you. Your comments, your support has been instrumental in the growth of all of it. The Patreon was essentially started when we started the Movie Trivia Schmoedown. It was created in 2017 and the support for that show eventually led into this Patreon. A lot of you have stuck with it and it has done wonders for us. When we decided to experiment and try something new this year with memberships, PLD and I were curious how that was gonna work and turns out it works wonderful. Not only is it something that people on YouTube can do if they don’t wanna come over to the Patreon side but it’s also a fun thing that I’ve seen where the live show has been a place that people actually have gifted memberships and maybe that’s how a lot of you are seeing this right now. So I am grateful for it. I’m also grateful for all of the brand new people who have found the channel. Whether it is the interviews, the out of the theater reactions, the reactions. it has been a really fun year.

Also, speaking of the reactions, I’m excited that those have been something that I finally was able to do. I have to give a big shout out to LUKE from the Galaxy Geeks. LUKE has been a huge part of helping this channel grow. He was a fan of the Movie Trivia Schmoedown and was very vocal about trying to help us reach goals this year and was able to do that both he and Greg Alba pushed me to do these reactions that I wanted to do forever. And by bringing my childhood friend in Sam, my wife and my friend Tina I was finally able to do it. So 2024 has been a really wonderful year and I’m excited for what 2025 will hold. I’m excited for 2025 also because we get to see the finale of the Capes & Cowls comic book by Wicked Art! We are going to do a full on comic book read with music and everything and make it a full episode of the show once I get all of the voices and everything done. So here is to a great year and thank you for the year that we had!!!
