2025-02-11 01:31:07 +0000 UTCAs one of those people you talked about at the beginning of the episode, but who did vote for Harris anyway, it really blows my mind that you guys genuinely seem to beliece that Biden and Harris were any more interested in preventing the Gaza genocide than Trump is. The "bulldoze it all and build condos" isn't even a Trump idea, it was pretty heavily reported on for months and months before the election that it was the plan the whole time. I know you guys are better than this. As far as Gaza goes, literally the only difference between Tump and Biden/Harris is that the latter didn't have the audacity to be honest about it. Despite their limpdick rhetoric about ceasefires, every major action they actually took on the issue was in direct support of continuing and completing the genocide. We, as a society, are guilty of a major ongoing genocide RIGHT NOW. The time for gradual progress was before we started doing literally the worst thing that humans can do, short of a nuclear apocalypse, and we were already doing thath for a full year before Trump got re-elected. If we aren't willing to break this country to stop it doing literally the most evil thing there is, we may as well just start calling ourselves nazis, because any difference at this point is purely hypothetical.

You have to support and educate, and when necessary call out their misogynistic, racist BS. That's something only other white dudes can do-- because women, people of colour, queer people, we're everything those men are angry about, so any olive branch from us, any education we offer, will be spit on.
