I've only been in a couple circle pits at Bad Religion shows. It was a good time, but I definitely didn't stay in the pit for the whole show.

Then we went to see Symphony X live with my girlfriend (now my wife) and she is... small... so she ask my best friend and I if we could instead go to the seats on the second floor, instead of staying down standing and getting into mosh pits, so she could be able to see the show. My friend and I were like "sure... I mean, we like the pits, but sure", deep down suffering in secret because it was going to be a lame concert by seating down on the second floor. We got there, it was comfortable... concert started... OMG, the sound was way better, the visibility of the band and spectacle was better. Even looking at the crowd below was amazing. So, from that day on, I have enjoyed concerts "like a gentleman", and I look at the pits with love and nostalgia, thinking "yeah, you go you crazy young people... you go..."
