I remember that. The villain was Hans Gobbler, right?

My Cage

My favorite was probably 1999's epic "Die Hard on a Thursday" when Jim Belushi as John McClane (Bruce Willis refused the part in this sequel) cried out, "Gobble, gobble, turkey pluckers" as he toppled the giant oven on the assembled bad guys. Classic!

And I don't want a Pickle

"You can get anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant (exceptin' Alice)"

Jon Benson

At one point one of the broadcast networks (NBC?) tried turning "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factor" into a Thanksgiving night tradition, like the way "Wizard of Oz" had been a similar one for many years. (Ask your grandparents.) It didn't catch on but it's still a tradition in my mind.

I recall a handful of Thanksgiving specials, and they were all mediocre. Guess I'll default to the "Animaniacs" one, incidentally the first cartoon in which I heard "Native Americans." (I already knew the term; I was just accustomed to less PC cartoons.)

Stephen Gilberg

I don’t know that I have one—perhaps because my childhood memory of Thanksgiving is dominated by the oft-repeated parental remark that William Bradford was my great¹²-grandfather.

Selena Terrazas

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.” I mean, how could it not.

VGR

This is absolutely hilarious.
