Jon Benson

Shrek, Airplane, anything from Monty Python, Space Balls, and the original Star Wars trilogy.

Shawn Eaton

Just to throw one out no one else has mentioned: The Wizard of Oz

J.E. Melton

Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. Jake: Hit it.

I forget which Bugs Bunny cartoon it was, but in it Bugs is yakking while Yosemite Sam is trying to concentrate; Sam complains, "be quite rabbit, ah'm thinkin'...an' mah head hurts." The question reminds me of my fantasy game show where the emcee presents a subject and the rival teams have to come up with a quote on the subject. The "Monty Python" and "Simpsons" teams are tied -- until someone on the Simpsons team quotes "Futurama" by mistake.

I often here quotes from Airplane, such as "and don't call me Shirley". My favorite quote is "what we have here is a failure to communicate" from Cool Hand Luke.

Ryan Edgar

“Shakespeare in Love” Philip Henslowe: Mr. Fennyman, allow me to explain about the theatre business. The natural condition is one of insurmountable obstacles on the road to imminent disaster. Hugh Fennyman: So what do we do? Philip Henslowe: Nothing. Strangely enough, it all turns out well. Hugh Fennyman: How? Philip Henslowe: I don't know. It's a mystery.

John W. Kennedy

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, hands down.

Bob Alexander

Me too. Casablanca “Round up the usual suspects”, “Play it again Sam” (even though it’s never said), etc

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre ... "I don't need no stinking badges" Man, do I feel old.

Kenneth Glaldden

William Hurt's soliloquy about relationships at the end of "The Accidental Tourist"...

Yer pal Mikey

Put... the candle... back.
