Think I mentioned this here before: I had a premonition of the 1977 northeast blackout early in the evening - that something incredibly weird was going to happen later - and it did.

2022-09-09 15:37:11 +0000 UTCI've had encounters with ghosts before. Mainly at the department store where I work. Sometimes I could figure out a logical explanation for something, but other times there was no explanation. The one that unnerved me the most was the time I was vacuuming some fitting rooms, looked up at the mirror in front of me, and saw a woman walk right behind me. We weren't open yet, and none of my coworkers were anywhere near me in the building. Moreover, she was walking to the far end of the fitting rooms, which is a dead end, but when I quickly checked the rooms right after seeing her there was no one there. Even though the encounter only lasted a second, I still remember that she had shoulder length, straight brown hair, khaki pants, brown slip on shoes, and her face looked nothing like any of my coworkers.
