I'd seen her before, a short blonde about 50 who walked around downtown every day and often came in to say something strange. This day, she outdid herself. She said, "Timothy Leary and Ted Kennedy set fire to the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. It's going to cost millions!" Then she left. I wrote down what she had said so I would not forget it.
