The "Sally Sloth" strip was because the writer of "Sally Forth, Francesco Marciuliano, is a great guy who was very supportive of "My Cage". Question of the day: Do you have any experience meeting someone famous? Originally run Nov 15th - 16th 2008.

I used to go to a lot of cons, so I've met a lot of science fiction writers and comic book and strip creators. I've never met any of the so called rude ones, either. Everyone I've met has been supernice. Outside of cons, I met SF writer Tim Powers several times since he lived near me and shopped in the same bookstores.

I met Roger Bollen who created "Animal Crackers". I knew his wife and at a party at their house I met Tom Batiuk. It was really fun to talk to the creators of comics that I had been reading since the '60s.
