Then anyone banned for being too gross and racist on SA went over there. It was a like a containment chamber for gross people online. And Anonymous only got big because trolling scientology actually worked. Before that they just trolled teens on tumblr for fun by posting pictures of dead animals. 4chan has always been trash- there might have been some good stuff there but like, it created Qanon.

Not saying its wrong these days, but 4chan was the origin of anonymous back in the day, a movement that I was super on-board with back in the day. It helped the Arab spring be public knowledge by providing thousands of dial-up connections so that people on the ground could reach out, that fought like actual governmental censorship around the world, even was a large part in overthrowing a totalitarian government in Tunisia. I suppose that movement kinda morphed into Antifa after the whole lulzsec thing blew up and really took the wind out of anonymous’ sails, but it started as all these people who realized that they collectively actually have a lot of power and can really make an impact of the world, and it all started when they decided to troll a NEO-NAZI internet radio show back in like the geocities era. It’s sad to see how that has fallen,

I'd be shocked if she was doing that on her own. She probably internalized the abuser's behavior as 'OK' and then uses the same reasoning to abuse her own kid.
