I only found the Schmoedown last year, but after really gravitating towards Roxy and The Stars last year, I spoke with Chandru at the Mint the night after Spectacular(great night with a bunch of SD personalities and fans btw). I told him he should definitely join the Stars for two reasons: 1) I think he's an amazing competitor, and 2) they're my favorite faction and I want them to have amazing competitors. He played it coy, saying that "that would be great, she's an amazing manager, but it's all up to Kristian. I think he wants me to go rogue for a while. But you never know." To be honest, it was amazing just talking with Chandru. He was such a cool, nice guy. Fast forward to the Season 9 premiere PPV: I'm on a work trip in a hotel in the middle east. It's something like 4am and I just enjoyed my first thrill of a WildBerries match for the very first time. Chandru comes out, followed by the Smasher. It's a win-win for me, because I met both of these stand-up guys briefly in December, and its hard to root against either of them. But personally, I like to root for a bad guy. I like it when my team embraces the hate(ie. why I love the Duke Blue Devils so much). So when Chandru steps forward with a special speech, I'm watching with the biggest grin on my face. He announces that he has a new manager, the greatest manager. And my favorite music starts playing, with my favorite SD personality walking out. Roxy Striar! I'm running laps in my hotel room in the middle of the night, I was so happy! Obviously, my guy didn't win the match, but I knew he would be back with the help of my favorite manager. Surely, Chandru joining the Stars was already planned well before Spectacular. But in my own head canon, in the Schmoedown universe, maybe it was my idea that persuaded The Chosen to team up with Roxy Striar.

I mean Anarchy and the Ghair/Murrel storyline really catapulted the Schmoedown into legendary. I also really enjoyed Dan's heel turn this year, it was so well executed.

Rocha's storylines from start to finish was the main reason my husband put up with us watching the Schmoedown every week. He was a HUGE Rocha fan. Frankly, we all LOVED Rocha. Like Macuga, John was another one of the pivotal players in the early days that got me hooked on the Schmoedown.... The Outlaw was so classic and so cool, and yet John was so fiercely competitive and also vulnerable. No one could smack talk like Rocha. No one can go into a Promo like Rocha. He was the master. ANd he had mad skills. When he had some heart wrenching losses, you felt it with him, in some of those post match interviews with Jen, we were in tears along with them. There are so many specifics I could go into, but just want to mention a few more-- Top Ten's runs with him and Knost was so awesome, esp. thier feud with the Partriots and then later,, Team Action (and the tackle). Rocha and Mantz/Bespin, Rocha's JANE FONDA......AND of course, the FIVE horseman reveal was just out of this world-- never to be forgotten.

I loved the whole story line with Mike and Anarchy.... that was genius. Everything about it, kept us so engaged and invested every week to watch and see how these new pairings would perform, and what crazy antics would come out of it. It seemed the personalities of the players all had some sort of secret serum injected into them, as they were bringing so much life, energy, excitement and fun into the matches and sub storylines. It was a such a GREAT year!

The trial of JTE was incredible..... What a piece of writing and execution by all the players. I don't know how much was full on improv, but this was a classic for the ages. Just watching these guys, and realizing how much genuine FUN they were having made it just as enjoyable to watch. We were cracking up so many times. Wow, such great memories!! This is in our top ten, :)

There are so many GREAT ones over the years. I was thinking about season 2 when the Finstock v Macuga match had a year ban on the player who lost. And then (UNFAIR! we cried); Andreyko came disguised as Finstock. We thought Macuga could easily beat DAgnino, but Andreyko already had established his reputation of becoming a top tier player. This was scary for Macuga fans like us! Macuga was on a good run back then too. No one could "educated guess" his way into a victory like Josh Macuga. His enthusiasm and joy when he'd get a right answer, let alone his surprised looks when he would win, made me an instant fan. He was one of the pivotal reasons why I became totally hooked on the Schmoedown in the early days.... Long before the Wildberries, and long before Stacy Howard became famous for her guesses, Josh was and is the man!

The trial of JTE.

Garth McMurray

Macuga vs Finstock, loser banned for a year. Andreyko came out dressed as Finstock and Macuga still won the match!

Selvin Moreno

Best moment was XX5XX or Five Horsemen reveal but best storyline was Anarchy

Emo Cat Dad

5 horseman reveal and probably the surprise title match between Sam and Dan just after Dan beat Rocha and Mark
