You brought up the suicide problem and that is the number 1 reason I will never own a gun. I had a bout of suicidal ideation a few years ago and if i had had a gun i would be dead now. If anyone has guns and is feeling extremely depressed, please ask a friend to hold them for you! They make it way too easy to let that crazy impulse kill you.

While there is no formal code of ethics or disciplinary code of conduct in place to hold SCOTUS justices accountable or impose sanctions upon them when they engage in corruption, there absolutely IS a constitutional provision that allows CONGRESS and the PRESIDENT to impose checks upon the court. SCOTUS is not and never has been outside the reach of consequences. However, it seems that Biden and the Democrats in both congressional chambers have forgotten all about that.

In the USA, easy access to voting would equate to major losses for the right wing nutbag politicos, the religitard fanatics, and the reigning corporate oligarchy … which is exactly why there’s a never ending battle to obstruct and disenfranchise those of us voters who would handily vote them all out of power and into obscurity if elections were actually and truly fair for all.

We would also have accepted "drug-addled", "balls-out bonkers", or "artificially flavored banana Republican" as adjectives for "Disney Land".

Thank you for bringing up the issue of suicide and guns. I wrote you an email about it a while back that you ended up reading on the show. Gun access is a huge predictor of completed suicide. So many lives could be saved if we reduced suicidal people's access to guns. I live in New York state, a very liberal jurisdiction, and we found it difficult to get guns removed from the home of a suicidal child. It's insane. (We finally talked the parents into voluntarily placing the guns with a relative.) I can't imagine how difficult it would be in a more pro-gun state.

Drug influenced Disney Land is a pretty damn goos description of this place. Also, the answer to the question "What if FIFA ran an entire country?" Would also be fitting.

I'm in Australia but obviously have an interest in WTF is going on in the drug-influenced Disneyland you call the USA. We have compulsory & preferential voting here and it's run by entities at both the Federal and State level that are separate from government. They also decide electoral boundaries, not the government. Gerrymanders are frowned upon here. Not saying Australia hasn't elected some absolute disphit MPs and governments over the years but the recent WA, SA, Federal, and (yesterday's) Vic elections show that when more people get easy access to voting you tend to elect far fewer fuckwits. And you really need an episode on why the US, UK, and Aus are filled with political right-wing fuckheads and they just happen to be the three countries where Murdoch has apparent free reign.
