I saw a bakery have that happen here in Eugene, OR. But we definitely have a mask mandate! If it’s not that story, it’s fucking ridiculous this is such a phenomenon of people just being pricks for attention.

In a nutshell: 'this law/party won't affect me (I don't have a uterus or I am not in a disadvantaged group) ergo it's not an issue so why vote?' I'm not sure what's worse any more, the overt cruelty of avowed right wingers or the selfish apathy of non-voters.

I'm already prepared for democrats to lose a lot of positions for quite a while. The right is in a feverous panic while most of the left are pissed at what their legislators have been doing, or apathetic now that trump is gone.

On the charitable giving studies, most I've come across count giving to your church/tithing as charity. If you remove that as a variable secular people give more than religious people by most measures.
