Oh no! Yes, I think I came across that at the bookstore where I work, pre-pandemic. It did give me a sense of deja vu. I remember in the 90s, the cartoon This Modern World by the pseudonymous Tom Tomorrow had a strip with Bill Clinton featured as Waffle-Man. I was reading it about a decade late and I remember disapproving that he'd taken the idea from Doonesbury. Then I read a later collection where Sparky the penguin has Mark Slackmeyer and Mike Doonesbury tied to a chair and is threatening Trudeau not to choose the waffle icon over the flipping coin to represent Clinton (Trudeau was giving readers the choice). I believe he said something about how they were a small weekly alternative cartoon and Doonesbury appeared in approximately. . . I think he said "eleventy-billion papers", and they wouldn't be able to use it anymore. It didn't work, but it was incredibly charming and memorable. Which while it doesn't make a loss less galling, was hopefully a point of pride.

Yeah. Sadly 'Awkward Yeti' beat us to it.

I really love the Libido-Brain-Heart comics. The Brain's dry, sardonic wit contrasted with the temper tantrums of Libido and the earnest enthusiasm of Heart--and then you add in how Brain prissily sails about on the end of the spinal cord like a top-heavy snake. I would read a whole book of just Libido-Heart-Brain.!

I thought he'd hate the dance club because he'd worry about Bridget seeing all the other guys.
