2021-03-01 14:51:19 +0000 UTCIf we're doing animal names (which we sometimes skipped if we thought people would have too stop and think about what we were spoofing and ruin the strip's flow) I'd say Barbee, and have her be a bee, and Kenguin, and have him be a penguin. That's off the top of my head though, and I've very tired. :D

2021-03-01 14:42:42 +0000 UTCI'm amused that Norm is evaluating his (objectively accurate) assessment of the cultural and artistic depth of various musical genres, but all in the light of a quasi-adolescent, "Hey, I could get into X music. That would be cool of me." It also makes me think that he doesn't actually like blues or jazz, but he's not *aware* that he doesn't. All the things I've always thought I *should* like or get into turned out to be things I didn't actually like, but wanted to like. And having friends who actually do like those things makes me aware that my cultural taste is . . . let's say a hair above middle-brow (possibly at best). Sometime in college I decided to accept and ruefully own that rather than try to hide or change it.
