She is looking to her best friend for reassurance that her being bi is not going to affect their friendship. She doesn't want him to treat her any differently because of her admission. His response is perfect. "No more than usual" says to her "I'll treat you the same as I always have". Which is just what she was looking for. Well done, Ed and Melissa. You deserve kudos for how you did this one. (Even if you didn't, you can take credit for it anyway.)
