It's weird when you work for a comics syndicate. There are things you don't think about. For instance, we didn't get to pick the colors for the characters. The syndicate's art department did. On the upside, the colors where partially picked to make the characters "pop" on a shelf because out then editor was sure there would be toys made of the characters. HA! We showed him! :D Anyway, here are the colors the syndicate picked. NOTE: Rex and Violet would have been darker colors of the colors you see on their "mouth" areas, so Rex would've been dark green and Violet blue. Mel and I were able to sneak the changes to Max and Violet (Max to be demonic, and Violet, well, because her name is Violet) . Mel also added Bridget's pick hair and little things like that. I've personally never been happy with the colors chosen for Jeff or Maureen, and to this day I LOATHE Norm's coloring. But, what're you going to do? :) Anyway, here is the original picks:

Orange Bridget with orange hair and orange pants? Orange Jeff with an orange shirt? And both with magenta as an accent? Someone got paid to do that.
