April Fails - Totally Stuffed
It's funny - I had a "suggest a character" thing, where I pointed out that I prefer to draw OCs. Aaaand then I draw fanarts! :D
Here's April from TMNT!
Since she keeps getting captured and tied up all the time, the turtles decide to help her geet better at escapology. It's not going so well. Three hours in, and all she's managed to do is fall over, and have a wardrobe malfunction...
But a ninja never gives up - so she'll just have to keep trying until she gets it! :)

I loooooooooooved TMNT when it came out back in 1990 or whatever, when I was a little kid. And I watched some clips from the early episodes of the first cartoon while doing this to try to get the feel for it. Holy moly what childhood flashbacks. :D
This pic was super tough to draw tho! The picture itself is really awfully composed. I really was just going to focus on April, but when I started doing backgrounds and stuff I kind of lost it. Then the face was super hard... then the coloring was even harder. Funnily enough, I think it looks a lot better if you rotate it so it's like she's sitting up...
To cover up the fact that I wasnt super happy with it, I added a bunch of effects to make it look a bit more like some animated thing. :D
