Democracy VS the Doctor 18+19 - Totally Stuffed
Wow!
We are NEARING the end!
This month you gang of rowdy voters managed to get it to a draw AGAIN!
Exactly the same number of votes for further restraints, and for an ending...
So I decided to add the restraints first, and then start the ending, too!
We get an appearance by two more faces from the regular Institute series,
who were unnamed - until now.
I always had Pinky in my head for the pink haired nurse. It was, as it so often is for me, a place holder name that stuck.
Cara I liked for the redead nurse, because it apparently means "friend" in Irish? Her whole shtick is being overly friendly with the patients at the institute, while treating them very mean.
Doing a little more advanced comic page like this was fun, too! I often thought about doing more comic-y things with the Institute, but the main series of it was filled with so much complex restraints and machinery and stuff, and drawing that for multiple panels would be such a pain. But it's fun to get a little bit of dialogue going between the nurses and stuff!
For you Totally Stuffed ppl, I also included the QR code that got stickered on Doc. In it is the secret reveal of the Doctors name!
I named her after a family of web weaving yellow spiders. Spider themed lady villains is such a classic. Yacermino's Countess Tarantula springs to mind. I figured I could have one for myself!
I thought about doing one last page of the nurses locking her up and ending it there, but I figured it'd be more fun if you had a bit of a say in it too - so first thing next month I'll get a suggestion thread going for how to decorate her new living quarters ;)
So a little more fun - one last page - is coming in this series before it's over!
