Sometimes life makes it hard for you to show up in order to do your best. And at times it's hard to even show up at all. So, what's the point of going out there and trying in the first place?

I was thinking about it lately, how in moments like these our tiny efforts seem to be so silly and fruitless in the grand scheme of things. It's so tempting to just give up. If you can't offer something worthy, then why even try to offer anything at all, right?

Wrong. Every day that you show up and take a step forward, no matter how big or small, it's still a step forward. It's a lot like fishing. Sometimes you don't know if you're gonna catch a good fish. But if you don't go, you won't catch anything, and that's the only thing that's known for certain.

So yes, there is a point in being strongly rooted in your routines and doing the practical day-to-day work despite everything, even if those seem insignificant and small at first. And there is a point in simply trying to show up, even if you feel like it won't lead to anything fruitful.

You never know when exactly your big tuna is gonna appear, that's true. But you'll definitely miss it if you don't even make it to the water 🤍🌊✨
