I whole heartedly agree, he needs to revisit both of these speakers after updating thru the app and playing with them to tune them more to his liking.

I’ve had the Sevens since March of this year. Been waiting for this review for a minute. Love these speakers. First set of speakers in my life, most of my 27 years on this earth I’ve only had decent car audio systems and in my bedroom a Sony boom box built in the 90s with a cassette deck auxiliary cord rig to transport my digital music from my phone over the years and a decent couple hundred CDs I collected in the early 2000s. Huge step up for me. Always wanted speakers, love the vintage look and am super happy with these plug and play speakers. Back in mid May they hit break in because I had to change my EQ on my laptop. Also believe it or not might be my mind fucking with me to justify the $300 but running a Audioquest Carbon USB from my laptop drastically upped the sound quality from my laptop to the Sevens. I also noticed a difference in quality when I moved from Spotify Premium to Tidal Hifi Plus. I want to augment them with a sub eventually. Free up the 6.5 mid-bass driver and it will be close enough to perfection for me I believe.

You have to use the klipsch connect app to adjust the bass mids and treble. In the app you can also turn on or off dynamic bass extension you can set them to wall mode or corner mode which is -3 and -6 db bass. The app is 100% a must with the Nines. You can add or subtract a ton of bass.
