The first comic idea he pitched before landing on this one was truly horrifying. It involved a clock in someone’s eye socket that was sunk into mud. But mud that was BLOOD. I don’t know where he gets it.

This was the trickiest of the comics to get a final script for. We kept asking if he wanted to write one, and he kept saying no. Then he gave us a pretty bare bones idea involving poop and poop heads, before finally settling on this beauty.

If it wasn’t for my parents’ comic collections, there’s no way I’d be doing “The Other End”. The countless Peanuts, Calvin and Hobbes, Bloom County, Cathy, Ziggy, The Far Side, and Dilbert (it was the nineties… we didn’t know) books are how I learned to love the art form, and reading them with my mom and dad are some of my favorite childhood memories. I’ll forever and always be grateful for that ❤️

Hey hey! As we approach the holidays, Marissa and I find ourselves very busy and very tired. And so, in what has become a tradition at the end of the year, we’re going to take a bit of a break to rest, recharge, and eat food.
