I mean they won't fall out like a normal pair so it MIGHT be worth a shot. Is there something you want out of these that other headphones aren't doing?\

Pretty much safe. My sets are pre-production and one has an issue but its going back to be sorted to the current spec.

Interesting technology, running an audiology test and then creating SQ specific to your ears. Having had a full audiology screen a few years back I wonder at how they are able to both test and tune to each persons hearing. I’d have liked your insights on these compared to non BT headphones in your collection. What closed back HP in that price range would you compare them to Z?

Those Geshelli Archels or so cheap! Why would one not have the purple one for your desktop? Tempted to just order before your review, is it safe to pull the trigger?

True, Cristian. Perhaps I should have used another word to describe the immediacy and impact a decent pair of IEMs can provide.

I have a set of Nuros but they're sitting on my shelf not getting much use. I like the work they've done to try to raise the bar of headphone tech. They feel like soft large IEMs with cups. There's promise in this form factor. the detail and low distortion of IEMs with the low end of an over-the-ear. The profile system and testing seems to work OK but I couldn't help thinking that the non-profile mode was worse than un-eq'd. The immersion mode worked only very slightly, lots of distortion if raised much more than a little bit. Don't buy these for their tactile bass implementation. But at the end of the day, it's about sound quality and even with all the bells and whistles, these did not sound great to me. With a decent set of headphones and a simple EQ there are many headphones that sound better to me. But I love gadgets and these are super gadgety. With some additional attention to drivers and sound quality, the next version might sound better and be worth it to me. But this version does not sound like $400 to me. Of the 3 you compare, I prefer Sony WH1000M2x for sound, Bose QC35 for comfort , Bose and Sony (close) for ANC. On the plus side.... Nura has easily the best case.

Z, I can't really use IEMs in my left ear. I'm some kind of mutant. Are these effectively IEMs with cups? If you can't use IEMs comfortably, the Nura is a no go?
