50 Watts at 8 Ohms. Headphones are way higher impedance. 50 Watts at 8 Ohms is 8 watts at 50 Ohms because of physics. Handle yes. BUT.. Nothing pushes those things like the A100 unlocked to 8wpc at 50Ω. So yes those will play be HAHAHA FFFF power will always be the best way to use them.

Ah, got it. No driver issues on any of my Mac’s as drivers are not required.

Z' hates the drivers, I hate USB audio because of the ground loop issues I have with powered monitors. while optical completely solves it.

Zeos, I have heard you say on several occasions that you hate USB. Can you please clarify why you hate it? If it has audio deficiencies thats one thing, but if you hate it for some other reason, that would be nice to know. I have a Burson DA-160 that sounds a heck of lot better via USB vs. COAX or optical. I purchased an SMSL AD-18 on your recommendation for my laptop and am extremely happy with it both functionally and audio wise. On that DAC, I cannot tell the difference between optical and USB. Just curious.

I do address that a bit. But I can't call them out if the hardware is good. The expensive cables and BS words are what pay their bills most likely.

Had you put the PS Audio PS10 power regenerator on the sprout, it would have definitely enhanced the transient erection quotient. You would have even been able to hear the difference over Youtube
