The Monoprice M560 might be worth looking into. Cheapest full size planar you can grab.

2017-05-14 23:34:13 +0000 UTCThey are sort of aimed at the Shp9500 where they are cheap enough and give enough quality that you can own both and appreciate it. Warm soft bass vs the clarity of the SHP's. 7xx is similar but these have a build that doens't put them in the same league. I can't see these over HD600 ever.

That's more useful for those of us who can scrape up a few hundred but never $600. I can get a 6xx for $200. Is that the better buy?
