Welcome to blog 44, and episode #14 of A,Blog,C’s! The blog where I write about the first word that comes into my brain based on this weeks’ letter!

Today we’re working with the letter N.

N… New me.

We throw the term ‘new me’ around a LOT on the podcast. New year, new me; new month, new me; whatever. But I think I love this NEW ME

I’m currently working on my CURIOSITY. I have realised I have left behind my eagerness to learn in my childhood, and am not asking questions, making myself uncomfortable and pushing myself to seek information. If this sounds like something you’d like to also do - I read this blog - yes it is a blog not a medical fucking journal lol but it’s still really thought provoking!

I’ve set myself a challenge to try and interrupt my curious thoughts and seek further info, rather than go ‘wow how does that work?!’ and then move on with my life. I do it with Taubs a lot where I go ‘oh wow that’s cool, wonder how that works.’ and the punctuation choice of a full stop is not a typo. I wonder how things work but have no intention or great yearning need to actually find out. I WANT TO FIND OUT NOW.

Another part of the challenge is each day I want to watch a youtube video or read an article / newsletter / blog on something that isn’t work related. Or it can be work related, but not work NECESSARY. I think the important part is that I don’t NEED to do it, but I’m CHOOSING to do it.

Like most people’s offices right now with the release of Oppenheimer, a hot topic of

conversation for us yesterday was the ‘subject matter’ of that film in particular… NO SPOILERS I HAVEN’T SEEN IT YET. Basically I want to fall back in love with learning and asking and seeking.

I am into new music, blogs, books, YouTubers, writers, everything… If everyone who reads this (millions of people, I assume) drops a link to something they read recently that tickled their brain in some way, we’ll all be able to START TODAY. FUCK YEAH.
