It’s a new month, and my first as OFFICIALLY an author!!!!

I need to keep this one brief because I have 1 million things to do today. But recently I’ve had the biggest hankering for toast.

Weird right?

I eat toast all the time. Toast is almost my favourite food. (My actual favourite food is sandwiches, but just bread in general I guess is pretty safe.)

It’s not the toast though - it’s the way it’s prepared.

For the longest time I always liked my toast like, just warm. So not really toast, because it’s only just crisp on the outside but still bread inside. I was just a mere mortal then. Because I’ve discovered the burnter the toast, the yummer it is!!! Which is weird for me because I love soggy food, but crunchy toast is a must!!! With a generous layer of butter, and a lovely not-too-thick layer of CRUNCHY peanut butter.

But I digress- what I’d like to share here is the CUT of the toast.

I’ve had a real hankering for toast cut into SOLDIERS! Did anyone else’s Mum do that?

My Mum used to do this for me everytime I had toast. She’d do the warm bread, the butter, the peanut butter or vegemite, then cut it into THREE soldiers.

I’ve eaten toast in soldier form for the past 5 days now and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon!
