I started and stopped so many times and just couldn’t get the vibe right. Then I realised I was listening to a lot of Chili Peppers and a LOT of Karnivool (probably my favourite band EVER) and I’ve ended up in the perfect sweet-spot I reckon!
This is ‘songs you might find on Guitar Hero or Tony Hawk’ or ‘songs you might compile to impress a boy who likes skating and cool music’
It’s a bit skatey, a bit heavy, a bit light… I think it’s a good mix. I reckon it’s one where if you don’t recognise a song title, hit play and skip to the chorus because you PROBABLY know it. This is a WIP - so expect some fiddling over the next week or two until I finesse it / overcook it.
