I hope everyone has had a fucking WONDERFUL holiday season! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, or nothing at all, I hope you got a bit of time off or at the very least, a fucking bargain in the sales that happen around Christmas. Haha.
I am coming atcha with a fucking ANTHEM of the year - I have not stopped listening to this for 4 days. On our first day back in the studio (which was Monday Jan 2), I belted this in the car to pump me up! Freedom! ‘90 is my 2023 anthem. (RIP George Michael thankyou ✨)
The colourful music and just belter fucking vibes are really giving me that extra pep right now!
I think I’ll work on a playlist based around it, but right now I’ve been listening to the Freedom 90 radio.
This is the second fork of this recommendation because it’s something I’ve not long ago discovered and now I do it nonstop. Inside Spotify if you right click on a song, a menu comes up and the second option is ‘go to song radio’ and it’s like 50 songs of a similar vibe / era / artist and it is bang on like 80% of the time. FUCKIN’ HARD RECOMMEND.
