I’ve had funny skin breakouts and sleeping poorly and feeling a bit BLAH! and after doing some reading online, I’ve been spending lots of time trying to cut down on my stress levels!! Some of the things I searched were like ‘how to reduce stress’ which sounds so simple but I was like okay what can I do here?!
Amongst the few things I’ve done this week like going for a run with Taubs and Pippa in the morning and not eating as much junk food, I also have been journaling in the morning!
I’m (obviously) a big fan of writing (hence this blog… the whole book I wrote… you know) and it comes quite easily to me, but I found the best little prompts online to help make it simple.
I am a big believer in ‘clean bench, clean mind’. When our kitchen bench is cluttered I cannot get anything done. It weighs heavily on my noodle! But when our kitchen bench is clear, my brain feels clear. And journaling to prompts over the last few days have just made my brain feel so HAPPY! Like my mental bench was so cluttered, and spending some time in the morning made my mind feel so clear and organised.
If you’re looking for some journal prompts to give it a go, you can google them, but I actually searched on Pinterest!! There’s heaps of really good ones on there!
