Also, weirdly enough, my method of designating all the main grey tones before doing any significant inking work is more resembling of my digital work routine (where I usually go heavy on screentones). It makes my brain think about major shapes in a slightly different way, and I think it really helps with making the geometry clearer, no matter how stylized or intentionally wrong it is.
