Blast from the past!
Added 2018-11-20 16:13:34 +0000 UTCPosting this old-ass video of a mysterious cover now, because by the time it will be actually used and released the video will be even more painful for me to watch :D In just a couple of moments here I use the old calligraphy pen I "fancied" for about 6-8 month before getting my sweet G-nibs. And when I see it now I get actual muscular memory pain of dealing with that shitty instrument. There was something masochistic in me back in 2016, I guess.
(And hooo boy! I also have several process videos for pages from my still unannounced Western book which were done with dang pen almost entirely! 2016 and beginning of 2017 were wild).
As for this cover - I'm probably gonna redraw at least 40% of it in 2019
