Dwarf Warriors and Roadmap

The forges at Forest Dragon have been re-lit and there's not long to go until the new releases start up again. Today I want to show you one of the March releases and give you a better idea of what to expect in the Glade Denizen ($5) tier over the next few months.

The first unit coming for the Dwarf army is of course the sturdy and redoubtable warriors. Armed with a variety of axes and hammers and armored with chain mail and shields, the warriors will form the tough backbone of the force.

There is a choice of two command strips, one with a standard and one with a banner. The banner can be printed with a choice of sculpted designs or left blank. You also have the option of printing the unit with blank shields or sculpted detail.

As always I've made every effort to reduce supports as far as possible, and although this unit isn't entirely support free, the number of supports you'll need to remove is very moderate.

The Dwarf warriors will of course be available as based and supported individuals in addition to the strips. You'll be able to get them on March 2.

Since I'm fairly well advanced with sculpting at the moment, I'm able to give a more definitive plan than usual, so here's the planned release schedule for the army:

Glade Denizen ($5) tier roadmap

March: Dwarf warriors, cannon, general

April: Dwarf musketeers, fire thrower, characters

May: Dwarf berserkers, flying warmachine, characters

June: Dwarf rangers, anvil, characters

After that there is the possibility to add more units, but as you can see the core of the army will be complete in just 4 releases and will therefore only cost you $20 (plus tax) as a Patreon supporter, which I hope you will feel is good value for money.

There will probably be a poll for what comes after the Dwarfs sometime in April.

Of course, there are plenty of exciting things to come for the Glade Noble ($10) tier too! More about that in the next post!
