The pacing in this movie isn't that great. The story is also laking. There were some production problems. Jennifer Lawrence were bitching about mistique's make up taking to much time to apply. So, that's why in this film she mostly in human form. Nonetheless there are some great scenes and moments. Like slow motion scenes, and Erik loosing his family. "Logan" is next, can't wait!

2025-12-07 03:17:44 +0000 UTCyeah this movie is where everyone completely lost the continuity from previous ones and days of future past pretty much becomes the new first x men movie, but the weak points in this movie were very prominent even though the effects were amazing. the plot suffers the most in this, even cheesier than the first x men movie imo and i only consider the first x men movie cheesy because they were working with certain effects and limitations. you’d think with a better budget they’d be able to write a better script. even though the villain was all time bad all powerful he was written pretty good as a cliche villain or at least some of his lines were. And the thing with wolverine confuses me still, Mystique found wolverine posing as stryker and the end of DoFP, so did she turn him into Alkali just so he can go through the process of receiving the metal claws, idk 🤷 would love to know but alas i do not
