This movie is set 30+years from Return of the Jedi and 50+ years from Revenge of the Sith. A lot of people don’t like the Sequels as for me Episode 8 is my favorite. No spoilers so just want to say in Return of the Jedi after Luke defeated Palps there was another big battle where the Rebelion with some Empire demoralized forces helped defeat Palpatine’s fleet in the Battle of Jakku. After the battle some Imperial remnants scape to the Unknown Regions and this force later turned into the New Order.

2025-11-01 23:46:51 +0000 UTCLoved the reaction :) just to clarify for you guys before the empire (ep 1-3) all the clones are clones and during the empire (ep4-6) they were still clones left over from the old republic and order 66 but they were also starting to “recruit” for the empire from planets that they’ve conquered usually through brainwashing and probably from sympathetic planets that willingly joined up while the rebellion was fighting. And during this trilogy I believe there are no more clones left alive and pretty much all storm troopers are people who have been “recruited” and Finn’s brainwashing broke in the beginning which led him to break Po out. And that’s why you’ll hear different voices from storm troopers in episodes 4-6 and this trilogy
