Hey gang! I'm back with the final poll results.
As you can see, Option #1 won the poll by a large margin and the rest came out pretty much even. If you missed it, you can see all the options here.
There's one problem with #1, when a game has a long note, it's huge! Because of that and based on other feedback, I've decided to implement some display size options: compact, normal, and expanded.
Normal and Expanded are both basically #1, but with the note limited to one line on Normal. If you click the note itself, it expands to look just like Expanded. Easy!
Compact is option #4. I chose it for the other option because it's both the most compact and the most like the current site.
You'll be able to set which size you like separately in both the Now Playing and Library. So if you want an expanded Now Playing and a compact Library, you can do that, or vice versa.
As with the other Library Options, this setting will be saved locally on your device, so you can do things like have an expanded view on desktop and a compact view on mobile.
As you can see, I'm making more work for myself. But I think it'll be worth the wait. Hopefully everyone finds a game size they like. I'm also seriously considering revamping the filter UI as with all the new options is a getting a bit unwieldy. We'll see!

It just makes scrolling through collections take much longer. As someone who's tested it in use, it was too much for my tastes.

2024-10-24 04:22:57 +0000 UTCjust curious, is there a particular reason you fear option #1 so much?? i think if people like to gab, then they likely don't mind big boxes, yes? or is it because it shows huge boxes to everyone else while viewing, who may not want to see so much?
