Patreon has finally added subscription billing, so it will now charge new patrons monthly on the same date they joined instead of possibly two times in a row depending on when they joined. For example, I had that issue before where I subbed to someone at the end of the month and got charged two days later which was kind of annoying. Also, new patrons will now always be charged on the day they subbed instead of the first for every additional month. Anyway, thanks to all of you.
Please enjoy this update which brings you the gallery feature which you can access from the overwatch tower at the end of the current main quest. Although at the moment only characters that are recruitable will be accessible in the gallery. But that’s not all, the update also features a couple of other locations that themselves include new quests and characters. Within these new locations you may also discover three new potential companion characters that you can recruit at your own discretion. Also don’t forget that the world map was future proofed and increased in overall size which means all transfer points were relocated, so please notify us in the comment section below, if anything doesn’t seem right. By the way almost every potential companion or important side characters now have artwork, however Izzarci and Yuratox are still being drawn by some talented artists we’ve commissioned. Once the artworks are done the game will be updated again. That update will also include a patch notes section that will also go through everything that has been changed, added or adjusted with this update. For example, before this update we noticed that when you refuse the sexual invitation of a certain mercenary leader, the artwork of the character wouldn’t disappear after the dialogue, that has been fixed with this patch. The new companions won’t be as detailed in terms of skills as others, but don’t worry we have already planned to reintroduce a skill tree into the game relatively soon. By then we will make sure that every character has a unique skillset that compliments their character design. Therefore, as always, we appreciate every support you can provide be it a follow, donation (on a platform of your choosing) or simply reporting any issues you might have or find with the game. It’s honestly very easy to miss things sometimes and that is why we really want to encourage you to report things to us, depending on the issue we can either fix/patch it immediately or compile smaller stuff until the next general update arrives. Either way thank you so much for playing our game, we really hope you’re having a good time with it. Correspondingly, due to the release time of this update: Merry Christmas to everyone and please have a good time no matter what you believe in or celebrate!
Alright it is finally time to release the first version of Legends of Fantasy: Rise of the Supreme. There is actually not that much to say besides maybe telling you how serious we are about this game, its world and perhaps wishing you a very good time with it. Although there are a couple things to point out if you are invested in the continuous support and development of the game. We want to emphasize that we chose RPG Maker because we quite like its aesthetic, but of course also know that some people are hesitant about games like this because they are either empty or end when it just started to become interesting. Especially games from a certain publisher on steam it’s always either hit or miss and even if it’s a hit it might be finished after about 2-3 hours. Therefore, please give this game a chance and remind yourself that good art should always be accompanied by context and gameplay. If you happen to reach the end of the current content don’t worry there will be updates in the near future. At least for now or let’s just say the next couple of weeks we want to gather some feedback on the game, so please don’t expect any major updates. We want to make sure to include the community in the development, therefore it makes sense to us to wait for impressions and maybe even some supporters. The second tier can already ideally serve that purpose; without spoiling the game’s current ending it should be mentioned that we plan a time skip but it could be up for a poll if there will be things to do during that time skip. But there is no need to worry, even while gathering more feedback and before advancing further with the game’s main development and story there will be some smallish updates. Firstly, we plan to implement a gallery within the next two weeks after the initial release. The gallery will only feature characters you can currently encounter in the game, still the game files may or may not already include nsfw artwork for characters you are yet to encounter in future updates aka further along in the story. At the same time, we are still waiting on some full body (mostly sfw) artworks to use in some interaction scenes with the companion characters. Ideally the will all be featured in the same update as the gallery, otherwise we might just update the game each time a new commission arrives. Future updates on the game itself (e.g., teasers) or simply noteworthy behind the scenes content will from this point forwards, be exclusive to donating supporters. However, because we don’t want to shut anyone out from receiving information; the access for the news feed will start at the lowest tier.
Alright this might be our first post, but there is already lots of things to talk about. The trailer for Legends of Fantasy: Rise of the Supreme has been out for a few weeks now. We are still waiting on a couple of non-essential commissions but the game will release with or without them on November 11th 2021. We have been working on the game on and off since the end of July which great success. We commissioned over two dozen artwork both SFW and the opposite ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) from many different artists, each unique in style to bring out some diversity. To provide some more context of the game itself I would advise you to check out the game page at https://butterflychainsaw.itch.io/legends-of-fantasy where you can also find the trailer and other places to support or contact us. It was just recently updated with new screenshots and a proper description. If you don't mind please consider sharing the link to the game page and telling your friends and mutuals about our game. Of course only if you yourself liked the trailer and eventually the game itself.
