Backloggery 17th Anniversary Marathon & Patron's Choice Poll Ends Soon

Long time backloggers might recall that we used to do annual site fundraiser and charity marathons. Well, now that the site remake is out, we're bringing them back!
To kick things off, the entire old marathon crew is getting together to play games, party, play party games, and eat strange food combinations for 12 hours straight to celebrate 17 years of Backloggery!
Since I have the Patreon now, there won't be a set goal. But there will be lots of donation incentives, including the return of the infamous food fuser, the Mean Meal Machine! It'll also be a good warm-up to get the kinks out of our marathon muscles before we do a proper charity marathon next year.
I hope you'll join us! It's been tons of fun in the past and it's a great way to meet more people in the community.
*The actual anniversary is August 14, but that's when we could all get together.
Patron's Choice Poll Ends Soon
The Patron's Choice Poll for the next major site update ends on Friday, and the results are neck and neck! Below are the two leaders in the poll. As I write this, they're in a dead-even tie at 76 votes each. If you're a patron, or have considered becoming one, head over to the poll and vote so I don't have to think up a tie-breaker. 😆
Badges, Emoji, and Likes
Badges and emoji return! Emoji will include all site icons, like priorities and badges as well as returning ones like statuses. "Likes" would be a new feature and exactly what you think, liking posts on the Multitap. A fun and easy way to cheer on your friends' accomplishments. Actual terminology TBD.Game Presentation and Filtering
This option will add a row of icons to games that will surface things like star ratings, region, and reviews. It'll also let you filter your library by them. Definitely one we'll have some brainstorming/feedback sessions on when/if it wins.
Speaking of the poll, I'm not a big fan of how Patreon forces the entire post to be private when I only wanted the poll itself locked down. I might try making it two separate posts next time and see how that goes.
