Site Update v1.1.0 - Data Export & Policy Update

'Hoy Backloggers!

I'm back with the first new feature update for the new site, the long-promised data export function. Served up with a side dish of polish and bug fixes. Enjoy!

Please note, the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy have all been entirely rewritten. My main intent here is to ensure the site is properly covered and compliant with the ever increasing number of privacy laws popping up. For better and worse, this means an approximately 100% increase in legalese.

While the policy text is all new, I consider my philosophy for the site unchanged. I strive to collect and use the minimum amount of data needed to run the site. Still, you should be sure to read the policies yourself and let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

And if you're a patron, don't forget to vote in the first Patron's Choice Poll to determine what the next big update will be. The current leader is ahead by one vote right now, so your choice could decide it all!

New Feature

• Data Export: check the new Data page under Settings to try out the CSV export options for your game and multitap data.

Improvements

• The "2024 Backlog" donut graph under Backlog Breakdown now shows a ratio of games added vs finished for the year instead of a mostly arbitrary bit of bar.

• Also under the Backlog Breakdown, Endless and None stats have been split off from the Active Backlog bar and are no longer included in the percentages.

• Improved performance on "Include Shelved" toggle

Bugfixes

• Fixed text alignment issue when Active Backlog bar is less than 50%

• Deleted games are now immediately removed from working data

• Whitespace is now ignored on the ends of search text

Platform Changes

• Added: Atari VCS and Legacy Games Launcher

• Renamed: Prime Gaming (Twitch) → Amazon Prime Gaming (Amazon)

• Added icon for Sega Genesis

Other

• The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy have been updated.
