Patreon Weekly Update I

Hello Patrons,

This is the start of something new. Starting today, every week I'll put up a short post concerning upcoming features if there are any. Weekly goals and a short assessment of how the previous week went. I will also be answering questions and generally going over things with you guys. 

This new move, in addition to things, like our increasing number of lore packets is me trying to give you a greater perception of the things happening backstage so to speak. Right now, it is just a trial and should it prove unpopular, I'll stop. Today's post will talk about some changes coming to patreon and some other new features. 

Changes:

Changes to patreon rewards: 

Don't worry! I'm not taking anything you want away. There are some rewards that have proved to be very unpopular. They have never been chosen even once in my entire patreon career. I'll be removing them since no one wants them. For example; 

•  Method creation. No one wants it. 
• Patreon Q&A. We've never done it and our new weekly posts, once regular, should eliminate any need for it. 
• The slack channel: Reason being that for one, it's too exclusive. I know! I was surprised to learn this. Apparently, it would much better to have a place normal readers could chime in as well and then carve a prime spot for the patron elite there. VIP sections are boring if there's is no party in the club. Also, people just don't like slack. It doesn't integrate well enough with patreon and everyone is already used to and happy with discord. So we'll be making the move. Patrons first and then, later, everyone else. 

NB: I will be making another change. The special edition versions of the books will go to patrons at the $10+ tier instead of just the $20+ tier.

Changes to Patreon goals: 

My patreon goals were created when I first started writing and many have not aged well. There are some, like the one coming up, where I was gravely misinformed at the time they were created. $300 for art of the characters looks really stupid now that I have experience commissioning professional artwork.  

I'll be updating all patreon goals and making them more realistic. This is just to let you know beforehand. If you have any thoughts please feel free to let me know.

Changes to the patreon page:

I'll be removing some of the old Q&A feature (Shame, I quite liked it) and updating the page to include information about DC/RH and my current life circumstances. I'm not a student anymore. Thankfully, I went through the trouble of working on the posts themselves making them nice and orderly. 

Changes to LupineKing.com

Patron only posts:

Some of you have already spotted the log in with patreon option on the site. Well, that's part of a much larger plot. Starting tomorrow, patron posts will now be available on the site. They'll still be patron only but they'll be there. You will be able to access them just as easily as you do here. All you have to do is log on with patreon and you'll have access to everything available to your tier. Cool huh?

 I'm working on bridging the two platforms and this a big step in that direction.

Sorry, they took so long. I wanted everything to be released together. I was too concerned with getting it perfect and look what happened we had a runaway chapter in the morning. Next time, I'll do it piece by piece.
