Karaxian Reference WIP

Anyway, here is some of the early sketches of the Karaxians. Once humans they were enchanted by Naga mages to be the greatest warriors to hold off an encroaching an invasion of demon hoards. Built like walls with strength to match any minotaur, they are ruthless and skilled. They are entire male race that can reproduce by putting eggs in living hosts, similar to the Slaad from dnd, (although the host doesn't die)
Once the war was one and the Karaxians were no longer needed, the Naga abandoned them, leaving the race to fight among themselves and bring ruin to the kingdoms they once swore to protect. To shield the rest of the continent of Eiteon from their fury, the naga cursed them to always have low fertility, bringing their reproduction more in line with standard humans.
So i chose the more upright posture, like Krogan, of which I was basing them off of. I'm not sure for the back spines or what head to use. I think I like the bearded dragon/ croc designs the artist called out here, but adding a crest upon their heads like Krogan. Stay tuned for the next update, the artist is on vacation until November 9th. The artist, you might recognize is Trogan.
