This is “apple’s” business practice, but there is one key difference. Apple has a reputation. DC is still building he’s own, and I used building in a very lose sense….. he’s demolishing it at the moment. Abusing trust never end’s well, and I can’t believe he can’t see the example of other’s. Steam recently made adult game’s available on their platform. There are game’s that already crush summertime saga both in content and quality. Summertime saga doesn’t work on steam. It’s free but the development is excruciatingly slow….. especially for game like this. You would think he would at least try to compete and actually show people that this is worth it, but no. Let’s rely on the fanbase and trust (while abusing both). All it take’s is one game, and one developer to see the potential, and in a few month’s people will unsubscribe by the thousands because a random sms reminded them that they still pay x dollar for a free game that doesn’t get an update. NLT (creator) put’s out 3D ANIMATED content twice a month (3 normal and 1 minor animation per update) and yet here we are a year later, with reskinned pose’s 2 of them every 4 month’s. This is an epidemic amongst patreon creator’s. Respectable and good creator’s getting used to the money and not working, abusing trust. Everyone delay’s stuff with crazy fing excuses. They don’t realize that problem’s keep piling up, and there will be a point of no turning back. When “okey i do an update every month from now on” won’t be enough. Happened recently to many creator’s. Because they don’t realize what they doing is a “ticking bomb”. You might come back and delay it for a few day’s maybe weeks or a month, but it’s inevitable. And i know of course hardcore fanboys who have nothing better to do, and probably have several discord titles are going to say “ok don’t pay than” or “go play those other games”….. just don’t, you are very cool, and very mature and i know you are used to not having options 😊 (in anything) I just wrote this comment because the stuff going on, on patreon is frustrating. Decent, talented and great creator’s going full on retarded thinking other’s are stupid. 70k+ a months is great, i am sure, but you fall harder from to top.
