2021-04-06 01:00:51 +0000 UTCAs far as Baekhyun, and I can't speak on how severe his condition is of course, but I have hypothyroidism and it can make you very ill. I cannot even fathom how he has been able to perform like he has. I do know that you can be fine for periods of time then get very down. And you have to be really consistent with taking your meds. It could be a medication issue. They (the military) might not want to be responsible for his being out somewhere and missing meds or losing them and becoming really sick, fainting, worse.

I actually am hyperthyroid (aka Graves’ disease) mostly it effects my energy levels and mood. It fluctuates greatly. I’m super hungry, restless (shaky hands and excess energy/lack of focus), prone to anxiety. who is hypothyroid might be more inclined to depressive, lethargic energy levels, and quick/drastic weight gain.

The US industry proved this year they only accept BTS if they speak in English, collab with American artist, or give a pop song with all vibes and no content.

Sounds like his family was super controlling. Hopefully he will be able to get back his money. The HYBE/Ithaca (ith-a-ka) acquisition should be interesting. Scooter Braun (brawn) is a POS who bought Taylor Swift's masters and that is why she is rerecording her 1st 6 albums. Hopefully the artists that will encounter him don't get screwed over.

BAEKHYUN: He's using an "out" for active duty, like many Korean men would if they could, according to David and Danny. Maybe the military needs to re-examine their standards of exemption. But for now, even if others don't think it's fair, his pass is legit. PARK SOO HONG: If he was really so screwed over, I feel bad for him. But I have to wonder, how could he not ever check his finances/resources until just recently?! HYBE: David is right. They are shooting for world domination. Which is ironic, since Big Hit and Bang Si Hyuk were known for being "different" from the money-gobbling "big three." Maybe not so much?

Even so, I don't think releasing their health-related exemptions publicly is the answer because many of them are probably fictional to begin with - also they have a right to keep their medical records private even if they are shitty people. Speaking of people being shitty - it's too bad to hear about Park Soo Hong getting ripped off by family members, but this is probably more common than we would think since money really brings out the worst in people. I'm glad he still has his faithful cat, at least! Thanks for another great DK News :)

2021-04-05 18:59:59 +0000 UTCThe problem as I see it with people getting mad about enlistment (other than people getting exempt from active duty with dubious reasons) is that the service tries to claim fairness in their level system but there are clearly inequalities that are apparent to everyone within that as well. If someone else had Baekhyun's condition but couldn't get a doctor's checkup in time and had to go to active duty then that's a problem. But instead of getting mad at the system it seems like guys are getting mad at each other for being able to actually use the system properly. I see the same thing in America with gov't benefits and people getting mad at the ones on it. Not every kid in America gets free lunch, it usually only happens in poorer communities, and people are mad that these kids are getting lunch instead of being mad that all kids don't get free lunch. These people get convinced by politicians to get mad at each other so that they don't have to do anything about it and benefit from the divide. Is there a correlation to this with enlistment that people are benefiting from this divide?
