July Devlog
Added 2025-07-08 17:58:44 +0000 UTCHello everyone, Keyko here with this month's devlog. I finished writing Russell's 5 (turned out a bit shorter than usual, thought I'd write an additional scene but I decided not to. I think it fits better on D6 after giving everyone some space.)
Now I have 1 month, more or less, to write Dylan and Clyde 5. I don't see it as impossible, but definitely a challenge. At current pace I can guarantee at least Dylan.
I'm looking forward to go on vacation and take a long break myself, finishing these two routes covers me for the entirety of it.
Let's talk about plans for the future?
I resumed working on the Moonlight Castle steam page, once it's done I'll let you all know, gotta have wishlists apparently, they're important. I'll be pricing it 5$ BUT as a Patreon reward I'll provide a steamkey to redeem one copy for free per person. That should also incentivize people to support us more for a little bonus treat.
When MC makes it on Steam the upload rhythm will change a bit, not for you guys, early access will always be ahead.
Patreon Always ahead
Steam One behind
Itch Two behind
That will definitely encourage more people on Itch to either pledge or buy the steam version. I'm trying to not reduce the art quality, but money is important, I can't cover the rest myself all the time, living expenses exist for me too.
In my free time I'll most likely go back and work on the remaining N2s, that way most of the content is up to standard. I say almost, there's definitely stuff I wish to fix still, but I want to prioritize the worst.
TFN is also in the back of my mind. Now that the Jam is over I want to add the missing scene and write new elements, space things out, so it doesn't feel rushed.
Two existing characters will receive some sprite upgrades and three new characters will make their appearance between Dylan/Clyde 5
How many characters left? I did a quick count, but I could add/remove some and I have 18 more character meant to appear in the story. Holy shit Raykyu will kill me.
Comments
Oh that's not a problem at all. We manage to finish everything on time usually.

2025-07-10 19:27:30 +0000 UTCI did have an idea. What if instead if the full art you put in the WIP art? at least until the full CGs are done? That'll give the reader the idea of the CG and still give time for you and the artist. Idk just a thought. đ¤
