Just a little life update...

I don't want to post too personal stuff here. But some personal stuff is currently effecting my Patreon work, so I thought I'd fill you in a little.

Next to drawing, I have a job, and the company I work for is currently going down fast.

I'm fine, I saw it coming for a while (really, it couldn't be missed...). But for some reason, when it actually happens, it's still a blow.

Now.... I'm not TOO worried. I think I can get another job, despite the rotten economy. I'm not too bad at what I do, and there's a market for it.
Question is, do I really want that anymore? 

I have no idea what is going to happen. Really, none whatsoever. I know I have options, they're all just a little hazy right now. Probably more clarity to come next week.

But I know I haven't drawn anything of note for the past week. The unsure future is really doing a number on my creativity.

For now, I'm not worried for Patreon, and I am not anticipating changes. My work for January is done and all posted, and February hasn't started yet, I'll be able to get my work done for that with ease.

One option I'm considering is giving my Patreon a huge boost, and try to make a living out of that. If I can, this will of course be great news for you guys, since this place will be positively BOOMING soon! 

But there IS also an option where I might be forced to close it down entirely for a while. Not because I won't be drawing, but because me making money this way while unemployed will actually not do me favours. It's how the law works here, might be different in other countries, I'm not sure. Heck, I'm not even sure if the law goes for stuff like crowdfunding.

As I said: there is a multitude of options on what is going to happen, but they all come with some blurry consequences which I cannot oversee just yet.

Any changes to Patreon will be announced here. For now, I think there will be no changes for February. However, due to the stress surrounding all of this, I decided not to stream this weekend.
So there will be NO sketch reward stream in the weekend of February 1 and 2! I will make later announcements on when they WILL occur.

Thank you guys for your continued support. Thanks to my Patreon, I have some savings, which allows me to not worry about my very immediate future. Without Patreon, I would certainly have been in very big trouble right now. 

So.... from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Each and every one of you makes a small contribution, but these small contributions of yours have made a HUGE impact on my current situation. You guys saved my ass in a way, and you cannot imagine how grateful I am to you all. I love you guys, and I love Patreon for allowing this connection between me and all of you. You guys are awesome!!
