Episode 3 Devlog #1 + Future For Patrons

Hello everyone! So far, episode 3's development has been going good. I'm done with the after elimination and the first day. 5 sex scenes, after the elimination talk, foreplay challenge, assigning roles are all done.

I didn't want the first 3 challenges to be the same so this time they are given a full script instead of just a theme. Writing a script with 14 characters was a little difficult and it's what took the longest but I have a pretty good outline I think.

Now, I'm gonna spend this week collecting porn and then I'll start working on day 2. Since I don't have to write 10+ different scripts, I feel like the hardest part of this episode is done and the rest of the development is going to go much smoother.

FUTURE FOR PATRONS

Right now, I'm not financially dependant on the game. So this has been a nice side hustle that made me a couple hundred bucks. But in the future, I would love to quit my part time job and focus on the game and I plan to do that once I reach 1.5k. But the thing is when I'm financially dependant on patrons support, patrons canceling their subscriptions after not getting a new episode is going to make me struggle. So I've been thinking about what I can do to keep the patrons entertained between the episodes.

My first idea was sex scenes that didn't feature the mc. I will write all the hookups that happened in an episode, the ones that didn't include the mc, and out of that list 8$+ patreons will vote for which ones they would like to see. And for the 3-4 pairings that get the most votes, I'll write how to hookup happened. It'll be in twine and you'll be able to make some choices like how the sex scenes work in the game currently and that will be like a nice little appetizer between the updates.

The other thing I can do is patreon exclusive mini sex games that are not related to TUACP at all. Something with like 50 passages, somewhat interactive, 2-3 endings kind of thing. The only thing bad with this is it'll probably delay the development by like 2-3 weeks while the other one, I can get it out in like a week.

I'll start this after publishing episode 3. And it'll make the 8 dollar tier useful, they'll get to vote on polls and enjoy the mini games or the extra hookups. At the moment, there are not many things to do polls about so that tier doesn't have much value. Tell me what you think in the comments or on Discord.
