2024-11-19 19:11:21 +0000 UTCgood question! johnny and claires story came to me first. i loved the idea of writing a "bad guy" who was doing "bad things" but for good reasons, and a "good girl" who wouldnt let him push her away. i knew they were both going through things of their own, and that they would soon discover how corrupt and dangerous the "underworld" would be. from there, more and more started coming to me, and now my brain is in a constant state of thinking of how in depth this criminal universe really is.

2024-11-19 19:02:18 +0000 UTCalways loved writing, even wrote a lil book in (i think) the 2nd grade. grew up in ohio so being a creative wasnt really a thing. i got an accounting, and a business degree, then had a quarter life crisis when i realized i was miserable. quit my job, sold my house, and got divorced all in the same year and focused on the book I had been writing (took me 7 years to write that first one!). started publishing and never looked back. now here i am, 17+ books and making it a career!
